Creatine only helps you with the first 20 sec of work. So creatine combined with his weight training may be the reason for his success.

Thanks a lot, friend.  Few weeks ago a friend of mine told me that he took creatine for enter in a university degree of physical education, and he need a good note in medicinal ball (he got 10 in resistence running as he was a long time runner) o he trained with weoghts an take creatine.  He said without creatine could not pass the exam, but i think was the training with weights.  But any case, it's very interesting that creatine show an improvement in the recovery after a heavy day.

6-8 weeks on 4 weeks off. I use a loading phase of 5 days and then 2x5 grams training days and 5 grams off days.
That is what works for me. I gain about 0.5-0.7 cm on my upper arm when I load.  But that is water. I can get an extra rep or two when I go for 4-5 rep weights.
What I noticed is that my recovery is faster when on compared to off!

How often do you take creatine an how much, Steff? I have no idea of his effects? It only let the muscle grow or really has an impact on strength? When you doesn't take it you see a decrement in volume os strength?

I take a "low" dosage (200 mg) after my WO:s but never at the same time as creatine.

I've read somewhere that high vitamin C intake for extended periods can cause you to display
deficiency symptoms when you stop taking the high dose.

Vince believed that you should cycle all your supps.

mmmm!  It's a good idea.  But I think that high levels in the body reserve can lead low absorvate %.  Maybe, it's a possibility.  If he believe in it maybe had an strong experience about it.

Vince told you to spread the intake throughout the day. That may have some impact on the absorption

High intakes ov vitamin C let a low absorve fracction (< 30%) With low doses the fraction absorved is near 90-100% so it is not a very usefull thing taking several grams a day and can lead to gastrinstinal problems due to a big fracction excrete via rectal.  But anyway there is a lot of controverse with that. Several authors advocate about the high intakes if vitamin C in the ilness. Who knows?  :-\

Vince Gironda recommended this: "Allergies are cured with megavitamin doses of Vitamin C (3,000 mg. per day)."
I have no idea if it works though.

It's always controversial the benefiths of the high intakes of vitamins and minerals.  But one thing is true: low levels of them, like vitamin C can lead a low testosterone levels as well febleness and astenia. I am not talking here of scurvy, but a low intake that itself low the reserve levels of the vitamin.  As well as many other effects: antioxidant and cofactor enzyme, it also control to some extent the spermatogenesis and near this effect also the testosternone levels, so do you want to get the max of your natural testosternone levels?  So take al least 80-140 mg of vitamin C!
