22 years in between this photo and the last one. Although Reg's physique was still superb, his age was noticeable. As the living body transforms and adapts to the time in which it lives.

Side chest post from the Liverpool 1987

It's very interesting this photographies if you compare them with the poisoning of chemical substance that takes over all the bodybuilding world, even the amateur and masters contests. The arms are smaller, only slightly, than the 1980 Mr Olympia posing, but that's quite natural with the aging process. there is nothing to hide here.  This is natural life. Is this really so bad that it should be hidden with a grotesque vascularity, bulbous musculature and pregnant bodybuilders?
